Where is the M3 most expensive?

I know we have it cheap here in the US. Europeans are complaining about prices in Europe. But I know in Thailand, the M3 will cost about 9.9 million baht. With today's exchange rate, that would be a hefty $300,000. I think the price of the Cayman or Boxster was about $250k when I was in Bangkok about a month ago.

Too many variable to say for sure. Exchange rate is not the only thing to consider. Need to really look at price vs. average income, or something like that.

Sorry, I meant in terms of overall price in USD, not correlated with income. Some countries have ridiculous duties, ie. Thailand, so the price is crazy high. Car prices have always been high there and it's not because of exchange rates.

Unfortunatly the price in Sweden is sky-high.

My fully loaded M3 costs 874.000 Swedish kronor with the M-DCT.

1 U.S dollar is 6.32 Swedish Kronor today.

So in U.S Dollars it would be 138.000 $

How much is a M3 fully loaded in the U.S ?

Taxes in the US vary by state, there is no national sales tax. My state, Oregon, does not have a sales tax. Without taxes a fully loaded M3 Coupe is in the range of $73,000. Some states have taxes as high as 8.5%. Nothing compared to you. We get taxed heavily on income, though.

How high is the income-tax in Oregon ? Does it get higher if your salirey increase ?

In Sweden the income taxes starts at about 33% an gets up to about 55%. The taxes in Sweden is completly sick.

I'd say Singapore is probably the most expensive, if you include taxes.

About USD250,000 at today's rate. Guess what? The GT-R is cheaper here even.

So it's still about $50,000 cheaper than in Thailand but still outrageous nonetheless.
