Passport 9500ix Hardwire.
Ok. So......I was going to post a DIY of my own, but from the V1 instructions its exactly the same. You just need to get the proper hardwire kit from escort (i got the one w/ the mute-button extension mount). Very easy and I didn't even need to dismantle the center console. Thanks to MBenvo for ze help with the wire tap and I was good to go! Izzzz now very cleeean!!!! no hanging wires and did a fuse tap to the cigarette lighter.

Very nice! Did you and Mike hook up yet? Did I miss the meet? How are you liking the Passport so far? I am doing the V1 this weekend with the mirror and can't wait to have a V1 back in action in this car.

Let's see if we can all meet up this weekend? Mike and I are down in the Marina so maybe meet closer to here? Or I don't mind a road trip to your hood either. I actually am going to MRF Engineering in Anaheim this weekend to hear the MRF system and talk to Malek. Maybe you can meet me at his shop as well.

Got my V1 with the mirror in yesterday. Pretty easy install. The hardest part of it all is getting the wire from the headrest tucked away (still gotta finish that part of things). Other than that, it all works well and was so easy. As far as a meetup, I wished I could. My weekends are fairly shot until after Xmas. I might be able to swing something Sunday, but not sure yet. |
