2013 M3 or 2007/08 911 Turbo?

In the spring of 2013 I'm planning to pick up my last toy car but not sure which to get. I have narrowed down my choices to a 2007/08 911 Turbo or 2013 M3. I figure either car will cost roughly the same money and essentially both will be outdated models anyways with the 2014 M3 around the corner but these are the only two cars that interest me. Of coarse, the M3 would be brand new with warranty etc but this still is not enough to persuade me to overlook a mint, used 911Turbo. What do you guys think?

P.S. Some of my past cars have included numerous M3 (including the E92) and a 911 GT3.

Find a turbo with CPO if still possible? A pre-owned turbo has already seen its biggest depreciation and a brand new M3 will take a huge hit when the new model rolls out in a couple of yrs. of course if you are leasing that's another story. Just my little opinion.

does the question even need to be asked? a 911 Turbo is a no-brainer compared to a M3, as a toy car !!

You've already had an E92 M3 --> Porsche

Or the new M3.

997 Turbo, upside is for not that much money spent in upgrades yields vast increase in performance. This car has chip exhaust suspension upgrades...

well if as you say "mint, used 911Turbo" then go for it as Julie pointed out as well as others you already had the M3 so go for it and follow your heart.

In the end you will be driving her and only you need to be happy with your choice

I'm a bit of a purist so I'd prefer a NA RWD car myself for a toy-car (keep the AWD Turbos for the daily driver since all DD-type cars these days are turbo charged and have a FWD or AWD).

But maybe get the 911 Turbo because it's more different than what you've had before?
