First ... Thanks a bunch RO_turbo for organizing this it was simply fantastic (next time we will calculate the diameter of a circle and get everyone to park in a circle for a great photo shoot ). Still you organized it well
Second ... It certainly was nice to meet some of you fine folks, will certainly try to meet more the next time so let's do it again. Third ... I too like to hear more of the exhaust sound on video clips. Perhaps all of you that attended can record the sound and post it here it was certainly great to listen to it in real life Last .... and certainly not least ... thanks to all you others that came out with your fine cars Z4M ... 335i ... 335is .... and the fine looking 1M it was nice to see you all ... as someone already said let's do it again it was great fun. I saw the fog move in so I made my way back home going west toward 402 and then home. I am adding some photos I snapped with my iPhone ... funny how technology moves as fast as it does ... I have 3 other cameras 2 of them digital and like to use my iPhone the best .... Drive safely and have a super weekend everyone Cheers ... Rolf

Some more shots.
2 of my favorites from today. The frozen black car. The interior was amazing with all the seat stitching. Exterior - stunning. My other favorite - the E90 4 door with the recaro seats. I hate to admit owning a coupe - that the E90 version can look even more aggressive. Also liked very much the Dakar Yellow, the grey BMW performance exhaust car of Mr. Track Guy, and Rolf's beautiful blue. The Fox Red interior convertible was also impressive. |

p.s. I know I gotta go black (or I'll regret it), but damn LeMans Blue looks good. Thanks for the pics of the black M3s too... I was a little tired too, driving back to central-west ontario, and left soon after you did... but I'm already looking forward to the next meet. Actually, we probably live not far from each other. Wait till you see the pics with the cars all lined up by color. My husband took a video walking down the 'aisle' of M cars.... I'd like to post it up but, like TTSam, I don't know how to edit out license plates and people's faces in a video... |

Some of your favorites were mine as well. And thanks for your pictures!
I still can't get over how good the M3 looks in various colors. White. What can I say? You can't go wrong with Alpine White (were 40% of the M's AW or something?, lol) Really liked the metallic sheen of Mineral White (first time I've seen it, it looks better than in pictures) Black. Meeeean. Space Gray. Muuuuscular. Silverstone. Cleeeean. Melbourne Red. Suits the M well. Blue. LeMans is a perfect blue color IMO. etc. |

RO_Turbo thanks for organizing this meet. The turn was was quit something. I think at one point I counted close to 50 M's (pretty impressive).
It was nice to meet many of you and put real names and faces to your forum name. Hope to see meet again soon! |

Julie, I agree with Sam ... go with your gut ... (btw gut = great or okay in German ) in the end you will be driving it for some time to come ... you still have time to make the choice as long as you go with ... well what you really really like My first M3 was silver, my second was Alpine White and I have to say I like the LeMans Blue Metallic the best, it does give different shades of blue all depending on the light of day much like my Orion Silver Z4 35i did (photo in my past cars garage). Best of luck making the colour choice I know you are struggling with that decision in the end whatever you pick will be the right choice. Cheers, Rolf

Here is a little work on those ones with BBK
forgive my terrible PS skill lol. Very happy to see so many M3's all at once, with different mods... and thanks for RO Turbo who organized this meet. But I just want to make a little suggestion. If you have a chance to organize the same kind of meet in the future, you should help the folks to park the cars in different poses for photoshoot, rather than just line-up. Just my 2 cents, Thanks again. |

I know all of you are car nuts like myself ...
I bet you all enjoy this short video clip about how VW builds there high end car in Dresden Germany. I took a tour there in 2009 naturally I was not allowed to take my camera inside. Go to this link ---> Click here to view the short Video Our ///M3 is build under similar condition just not that far advanced I don't think when it comes to parts management / delivery I mean. There is quite a bit of handwork involved when VW builds there TOP END CAR costing some 125,000 Euros If you ever do a ED for your next car don't miss to visit this place. Cheers, Rolf

"If I were sitting in {x color} car at a stoplight and then {y color} car rolls up next to me, would I regret it?" I paired colors against each other until I ended up with my original choice, Azurite Black. A couple of pics (Azurite90M's M3): Azurite Black is actually a very dark blue, rather than a black. It's similar to your previous Carbon Black that way, although it is more blue (than Carbon or Jerez Black). I got to see one in person. p.s. I think I may go back to my original timeline for getting the car, if I can get a production slot soon. |

What A Blast!
What a fantastic day despite the weather forecast being wrong once again!
It was so awesome and unbelievable to see so many ///M-thusiasts mingling in one place at the same time! I counted a total of 53 cars at one point !!!! Thanks to everyone who came out! It was really nice getting to meet the person behind their username. Unfortunately, I didn't get to chat with everyone so if you have questions about the OEM Bypass exhaust mod, please feel free to PM me. To the folks who made videos. If you could please post them after getting consent from owners (if plates visible) that would be fantastic. I'm cool with posting videos that show my plates. Here are some of the pics that were taken with my cam! 1) Towards the beginning as folks were rolling in. 2) Early on close up of a few members' cars. 3) More folks arriving . 4) Taken during peak attendance of the Meet N' Greet. 5) The beginning of lining up cars according to color. 6) The end product !!!!! 7) More M3s in line ..... 8) Beauties getting their pictures taken .... 9) The entire line up from start to finish .... 10) From behind ..... 11) And more ... from behind .... 12) Can't wait till the next time .... |
