Titanium X-pipe?
Besides the akrapovic, is there any others available? I don't think Akrapovic sells their X-pipe seperately.

You can get it separately but I think you should just go with Encore for the price. Apparently Akrapovic includes a 100 cell cat that is expensive and useless since you won't pass a smog test with it and you still get a CEL

WTF. $4,299 for an xpipe.
What the **** is wrong with titanium exhaust manufacturers. SS is better, lasts longer and reaps all better benefits. Only thing SS lacks is weight.. but is a 20 lb difference worth another $3,500 dollars? NO. |

$4299 MSRP includes race cats, and, relatively speaking, it is not bad actually. The SS Active Autowerke X pipes WITH race cats retail for $3400, so you would be paying ~$900 to have the pipe in Ti.

The only problem with choosing Akrapovic for an x-pipe is you pay a lot of money for a pipe that includes cats that won't pass emissions and will set off a CEL. They should just make it without the cats and sell it for less.

To be honest - the main idea of a modified x-pipe is to generate high exhaust flow and maximum performance! For this you need HFC. The CEL problem with US spec. will be solved soon! |

I am pretty sure with a CEL on that the car won't be producing as much power.
