Groaning noise from rear of car

I noticed that when I make very sharp turns (turning around) that there is a low pitch groin that comes from the rear of the car. Is this the rear differential?

Yes. I do have a low pitched groin but that's a different story. The spell check corrector on the new iPhone is annoying at best. A low pitched groan ....

They couldn't fix this in between the e46 and now the e92? Interesting.

It's the diff and a fluid change is in order. What kind of mileage on your car? Track use?

30,000 miles. No track use. Daily driver. Mostly country roads and highway.

I can't get into the dealer for a few weeks. Will it hurt the car to keep driving it?
