OEM Winter Wheel

I feel as if this has been posted already, but I'm having a hard time finding any threads.

Is anyone running these (or have more info)?

I ran these wheels last year - just sold them for this year as I have a few sets of wheels and just need to make space. My understanding is this wheel is available in Europe & Canada as part of the winter tire package paired with Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3's they are 18x8. Nice looking wheel and the PA3's are great in the snow etc. (at least here in Toronto). I thought I read somewhere in this forum that it was not available in the US for some reason but not sure why.
Here's a link to what they look like on my car...

I have them. Bought them off a former M3 owner who jumped ship to the C63. He ordered them from his dealer.

I believe the OEM BMW set up is a good one.
FWIW, I noticed a used set on eBay, with less than 5,000 miles on it. Might save you some dough!

Just put on a set of the 18" OEM 270 wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpins PA3s last week. Look great, but no snow yet so don't know how they act. Reports are good, tho.

They work like a charm. I used mine last winter. Won't need them this year as I decided to park the M for the winter!

Compared to the OEM 19's, the OEM winters don't hide brake dust at all. After one day of driving, the wheels are noticeably coated w / brake dust.

Which oem 18" winter wheel are you referring to? I have the oem 270 wheel (this is the winter wheel pkg in Canada) on now, and after 10 days of driving, not really seeing much dust..dunno?

+1 - Ran the 270M last year and my experience was they stayed pretty clean all things considered. I also have the OEM 18's (summer) and those definitely get coated with brake dust - but at least they are gunmetal and hide it relatively speaking.
