Aircon intermittent won't turn on

The A/C of our 2009 BMW 335i when it works, it works well. But there is an intermittent issue somewhere, it does not work sometimes and the A/C button when pressed the green light does not turn on and it blows hot air, code 00CDA9.

The car temperature is in the normal range, no overheating and already checked the fuses, AC pressure, refrigerant.

Does any one had experience with this? Was trying to buy an analog Climate control unit with no luck so far and not sure will fix our problem.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
