I only drive my M3s during the Spring/Summer/Autumn (basically when the roads aren't covered in salt and solution). And actually only drive them on longer road trips in Europe. Otherwise, I daily drive an 02 Bugeye STI year round. Plus the roads aren't the widest here and with fuel prices the way they are here (think $10 a gallon basically), it doesn't make sense to drive the M3 as a daily here. But they are the perfect Autobahn stormers.

Call me crazy, but since then I have been daily driving an e60 M5 V10. What better way to enjoy my commute (yes, I did the R/B's and Vanos line)! The M3 is still just a weekend toy. When snow hits the ground I just drive my wife's X5 for a couple days.

I don’t think every M3 driver fits in a similar box other than the desire for performance & style. The big question I didn’t see is “why wouldn’t you DD your M3?”. I suppose that question would yield panic and worry in most responses. I’m a 2nd owner and I drive this thing as much as I can. 25,XXX miles up to 244,XXX. If you pay attention to the car and get your hands a little dirty every now and then it can go pretty far. I would love to see more E92 M3’s on the road with me but I recon the worriers and dooms day natured folks that make up the majority of this forum have relegated their buetiful cars to a slow death in an unused garage.
Different strokes for different folks. I’ll be on the road with ya, can’t see any change in the future unless I can get an E60 M5 for a great price lol

E60 M5s and E63 M6s have been dirt cheap for a few years now.
