Porsche 991 leak

I need some time looking and thinking about this! But so far I don't like the lettered out PORSCHE logo in the back Panamera-style...

*Updated with new better pics.

I think it makes the whole car look very LESS aggressive. Too refined imo.

They've only had forty six years to get it right. It stands to reason that it would be a little refined. I dig it, much better than the 997, and nearly back to 993 form. Now where are the pics of the three pedal interior?

Wait, how did that stupid PDK steering wheel make it into the 991? Does Porsche not read any car rags? Please kill that wheel and those stupid buttons and just use the paddles from the 997.2 Turbo.

Combine that with porsche being the benchmark it's a home run...actually grand slam is more like it. Turbo and gt models are going to be insane!!!
Agreed. That rear end is HOT!! All I can think about is how long until I can jump from my M3 to a 991 GT3 .

Only thing that disappoints in the interior. I hate that stupid Panamera-esque center console. It's ugly and reminds me of an SUV or truck.
And whoever pointed out the PDK wheel, I agree, why did it come back??

I think it looks great. In fact now when I look at pics of the 997 it looks slightly dated! The front looks just like a facelift but still better. The rear end looks very sleek and the side profile is amazing. Interior is a big improvement too. In every way it's slightly better.

I think its a step down from the 997.2, but the interior is nice.

The center console controls are way too numerous and make the interior look too busy. Just like the Panamera.

Overall the car does look a bit too refined but I felt the same about the standard 997 911s. I can't wait for the next GT3, GT2, and Turbo variants!

This.

The back end looks too long (a la 996) from the profile. The back end also looks strange with the horizontal line.

Less classy for the sake of a more interesting design. I consider the 997.2 nearly perfect but I can see how this will grab someone's attention faster. It looks like they messed with things for the sake of difference, like the foglights. It's almost trying too hard, which is something 911s have never had to do.

The only angle I'm struggling to like is this:

The rear looks like it has a helmet/visor thing over the taillights, and those taillights almost seem too small to balance out all that bulk. The roofline and C-pillar area is hugely improved though, and I bet that helmet tail thing would make for an easy spoiler lip installation.

lazy ass designers. This looks more like a facelift than a new car. Tail lights look shrunk and the new front doesn't look all that different either

Um. Wow. That front end is real tight. That car in GT3 form is going to look like some kind of bio-mechanical creation with all of those bulges and curves. I'm in.
