Pulled ahead on a new M3
Been lurking the M3 forum ever since I leased my 2006 330I. I have enjoyed the 330I greatly and received the opportunity from BMW to get out of my lease three months early with there pull ahead program. I was considering running my lease out and ordering the new 335D and pick it up in November. On a whim I stopped by the dealership and noticed they had a few M3's still on the lot so decided to see what I could do on an in stock 08. I love the latest and greatest but if I could get into a 08 M3 for a good price I could live without the new Idrive and taillights. After a few phone calls and some heavy negotiations I ended up doing a two year lease with a negotiated cap cost of $1000 under invoice.

Sounds like you got a great deal! Car looks beautiful. I'd like to hear your thoughts after you've driven the M3 for a while, compared to your old 330i.

It was a great deal and I have noticed a few things between the two. The logic 7 stereo in the 330I I believe sounded better. I might have to tweak the premium sound some more but so far I believe the 330I stereo to be better. I have also noticed that the Idrive display is not as nice as on the 330I. It seems that the resolution or something is just not as good. Seems to be a lower quality screen. The cup holders and vents seem to be a cheaper quality also. I guess there must of been a lower bid on a few of these items and quality has paid the price. Beyond that the car seems great, I have only had it for two days now so I am still in the break in period so I will try to post back with more impressions.

Yes I have a 8 year old son, so a four door just works out much better. It is also much more stealth. Well to some degree, I had a public transportation driver the other day hanging out his side window in his bus giving me the thumbs up. |

I am thinking of leasing an E92 when it is time, and would like to know what is the max cap cost I should accept from a dealer? What is the max and low of cap cost anyone should accept? What if I want to increase my mileage to 12K - 15K a year instead of the standard 10K a year?

I think its great, as stated before it offers a nice luxurious look to the interior. So basically I have a very sporty and luxurious car all in one. It is also nice having something a little more rare than the typical aluminium or carbon interior.
