No as he stopped coming out to play by that point as he got married or somethingI actually think that Al and I were in different classes as he was driving a Camaro.Al was alway pretty fast!Al is the only other guy in a E9x M3 that is a much on the ragged edge as I am in my car!I think it must have something to do with starting in competion in V8 pony cars as that is how you went quick in them!

I guess that explains why Al is so enthusiastic about the ZL1 Camaro....... it brings him back to his younger years!!! Maybe Al should get the new Z28 and you should get the Boss 302R so you can continue to trounce his Camaro with a Stang! |

I might get enthused about the Camaro if the Z28 rumours that I have been told are true. The Z28 will be lighter with the 505horse 427cube LS7 to compete against the Boss 302.Sounds like the late 60's once again

They will never put the 427 LS7 into the Camaro without detuning it some. GM has a long history of holding back the Camaro to keep it from being faster than the Vette. If they put the 427 LS7 in the Camaro I'll bet it will not have any more than 475HP.

I disagree with you on that. They have the ZL1 to be the horsepower king so the door is wide open for the 427 to happen. But with the history of GM it might take a few years to happen even though all the certified parts are on the shelf.
