That's what I have. I'm really happy with the cloth and the brushed aluminum trim.

I'm way late to the party on answering this, but I was looking at the wholesale spec sheets yesterday as I finalized my e90 order (with speed cloth, of course), and the e93 is listed as having novillo leather standard and speed cloth as not available.

I definitely made the right decision to get cloth. Great photos... but a question:

What products are you guys using to protect as well as clean your speedcloth?

It is black. It just looks grey in photos sometimes.

One thing I noticed about speed cloth, it does hold you in the seat MUCH better. I didn't have any problems at the 'ring. I immediately noticed how slick the leather was during a spirited test drive.

Another win...you get manual seats!

My speedcloth-equipped M3 is getting here in a few weeks, so I need to know what cleaners to stock up on.

A stretch; but do any of you guys used a silica-based repellent conditioner typical to those used in couches? Also what are you running for cleaners?

Here's a photo with pretty accurate lighting.

Less accurate lighting but more is visible:

i have to say, speed cloth makes sense. It on the part of the seat where usually you wear clothes, so you can't feel it on your skin, all the other parts where your arm, elbow, thigh would touch, it's still leather.

...Not to mention that it's an easier surface to maintain!

what i thought was strange is that they use the nice leather on the bolsters of the seats, but the center and door armrests are the leatherette. all sorts of materials going on!

lol.. this is true. Strangely seems to work though!

An update:
Cleaned my cloth with 303 fabric cleaner, then did a few coats of 303 High Tech Fabric Guard. Car still smells like it unfortunately, but it works great. Liquids just bead on the surface.

The ladies love speed cloth. They get in on a hot day, not having to worry about burning their legs on hot leather with their short shorts or their little skirts.

Any up close pictures of the center and door armrests? That seems strange that BMW would use leatherette.

I think I'm gonna enjoy the Speed Cloth in my ZCP. This thread makes me VERY happy that I decided to go with that over the Fox Red. IMO, its more unique than full leather. Nice pics guys.

I do wish the door panels were full leather. I just don't think the cloth looks right there...a minor detail.

I think the doors look fine but thats just my opinion. Saw two cars with speed cloth at the track a few weeks ago and the doors look good. It matches the seats. Overall it is very sporty. Speed cloth is very exclusive as this is the only BMW on which it is available. I like it so much I ordered it.
