New Years Eve, AAA is Awesome!!
Have a Happy and Safe New Years Eve Everyone!!!! Remember, if AT ALL QUESTIONABLE, call AAA and they'll give you a no charge ride home with your vechicle. No Excuses!!!! Call them 2-3 hours early though(for a flat bed expect to have longer wait but) worth every penny(the money you tip your driver) every tow service that takes AAA will be swamped. Let's make 2012 a Fantastic Year. Don't be the"One", BE SAFE ALL!!!

Why on earth is this popping up EVERYWHERE. Facebook, twitter, m3post, the news, nytimes. Just get a taxi, don't even take your car in the first place. I know if I took my M3 and I was gonna drink, I'd drive it. That's why I leave it at a friends overnight.

Has it been verified by AAA? Could be a hoax perhaps. I'd look on their website, but it kicks me to the CDN site.

So wait, the idea here is that you have your car flatbedded home even though it is perfectly drivable? If so, that's an abuse of AAA's service IMHO. Not saying you should drive drunk instead, but just call a cab. Don't tie up all the local towing companies just because you decide to drink too much and are afraid to leave your car.

I should add, we have a service locally that will send a driver with a chase car to get both you and your ride home. It isn't free obviously, and it isn't cheap either, but it's more honest than calling AAA and a lot cheaper than a DUI. Cheaper than calling for a tow too.

Hey mike, gullible much? It's called healthy skepticism.
And rightfully so. While this does exist it isn't available in all areas. Hope you had a happy and safe evening. http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/nothing/tipsytow.asp |

We'll, I've used this service twice since they started offering it. If I'm taking advantage of a service that wants to get a person and passengers home safe with their vechicle if they had a drink too many, I guess I'm guilty. Register your complaint with AAA!
