Why, because you made it clear you don't know WTF you're talking about and that you're just a blind M3 fanboy?

This may shed some light. Graned, the M3 is not a Lambo.

Wow. Brutal. Did I piss you off somewhere on this forum before? What was wrong with my "opinion" on what "I" thought was going to be the outcome? I don't need to keep repeating and debating on and on. I gave my "opinion" and that's it. Accept my "opinion" and stop taking things so personal. Tell me where I was ever a fanboy?

I happen to love the 1000RR and been following it since it came out.

Relax. Don't take things so personal.

/* Note to self again

Stay out of these vs. threads. Above is a good example why. People take things really personal.

End Note */

When it comes down to it you have to remember three things.

1) Bikes are faster than cars (normal cars not open wheel or multi-million dollar race cars) in just about every way.
2) Cars can brake harder than bikes.
3) Bikes (supersport) are unstable at low speeds.

So with that you need to look at the track. Is is a slow track with tight corners? Is it a high speed track with long sweepers? Is it a intermediate track with both? Are the corners cambered or off cambered? Off camber is not good for motorcycles. Are they both on race tires or DOT? DOT tires for motorcycles are far behind race tires. I am almost 10 seconds a lap faster at the Las Vegas classic course on race tires than DOT. Are both drivers comparable at skill level? Is the bike suspension set up or is it just right out of the box? Suspension is good for 2-3 seconds a lap. Everything comes into factor for this to be answered correctly. Cars are great at a lot of things that bikes are not but do not be fooled that a motorcycle is slower in the corners. Especially high speed corners. Always remember that all your lap time drops come from high speed corners. You have to go fast in the fast corners. Slow corners do not make up time. This should be fun to watch but the track looks open with not a lot of low speed corners so I guess we will find out May 2nd.

".....and you dont have to wear leather to drive it" This just proves how biased that test was, I can show you a Dozen Car vs. Bikes comparisons made by car-magazines, and guess what? Almost each time the car wins or just looses by 1 point.

This is what I posted earlier, its an independent video of a race around a balanced track:

Bikes are NOT that slow around corners as many people think, I found a good video of a 911 GTR against a 600cc R6:

Now keep in mind the GT3 has a better power weight ratio, a intransigently setup compared to the M3 (Performance over Comfort), and the bike in this video is a 600cc(120 BHP, NO DTC, NO Race ABS).
The S1000RR is the currently strongest and fastest Sportbike out there, it has Traction Control and ABS (You can accelerate and break more agressive).

Sorry guys but in an even race the S will destroy any Street Car.

M3 looks badass and it has the right mods. It will need an ESS blower for the second video though

Anyone that loses to a DRIFTING lambo while on a superbike needs to go back to a 250 and learn how to ride again.

I think the RR would lose if they put it on bald tires and in rain mode?

LOL. I am looking forward to see the results. I am not much of a motorcycle guy so excuse my ignorance.

its funny how people always seem to think the difference in corners is so big, under braking you gotta had it to cars, but depending on the corner either one could be faster

should be a good race mind

LoL that video is so full of shiet it's ridiculous..A good rider on a Modern superbike will destroy any car short of a radical or an atom v8,let alone a Lambo around a dry track..This is worse than a top gear episode
