Help: another error code: P0092

Hi Folks - I cleared my first cel a couple weeks ago and all has been fine...until two days ago when I got a 2nd CEL, but this one is different than the first (first one: P0175). The latest one is: P0092 - "Fuel Pressure Reg 1 Control Circuit High".

Anyone know what this is caused by? Is it related to the other code? I did a search and some are recommending a low fuel pressure sensor to be replaced...about a $85 part that looks like a pretty straight forward installation. But before I order the part I'd like some additional data to backup this is what's truly needed. Anyone have any insight to P0092 error code?

Thx.

A P0092 is usually a bad pressure regulator or the harness is not connected all the way or there is a short. If you are running rich cause of it, that could have played into the first code you got.

Thanks Dave. When you say it's the pressure regulator, I assume you mean it's what BMW calls the "low fuel pressure sensor"? In particular, this one here:
