I've done a lot of research on the Internet before purchasing this fine exemplar PM me if you need some of the links.

Anyway both (my M3 and the 280 SL) got along fine the first night in the garage I noticed no bite marks of any kind ... they sure look good together.

These are a few weeks old but... a recent outing at Atlanta Motorsports Park. A great technical track and my first track day with the M3. I have a lot of room to improve with the car but it was great and I'm excited about future track days

Earlier this week, my first track day at Sonoma Raceway (Infineon). Hd an absolutely amazing time, and the car was excellent. Didn't even remotely push its boundaries, but after a day of coaching, feel way more confident. Can't wait for the next day at the track. Will be at Thunderhill next month.

Did you get the Euro bumber or did you have them shaved at a shop? I have painted reflectors but I can see me getting it done correctly in the near future. Little details like that really bother me

BTW... your car looks SO much better now. Good work!

Thanks ,

I had a couple small scratches on the bottom of my bumper that were driving me crazy. So I decided to have the the bumper repainted and while they were at it, I had reflector holes filled in. It looks much cleaner now.

I had painted reflectors before also.

If you don't mind can you PM me the cost. I want to have a real number to know what is fair and not for this job to get done for me correctly.

Congrats, beautiful car! I've always wanted a pagoda SL. I think I better move quick before the market wakes up. You can just make out my blue 40 year old stable mate in the second pic.

As to what I did to my M3 today, finally got my H&R race springs, Apex Arc-8s and Performance rear spoiler installed. Picked all these up in the fall but elected to hold off installing until I got through the first winter with the e92. Have been dying to throw them all on but got delayed by a new job and two months of training down in Miami. Finally home and got to work

I went to NJMP Lightning on Monday to test out the new suspension. Front straight. Ran 1:13s - 1:14s on crappy old R6s without final suspension adjustments..

Thank you ... I drove a new pagoda 280 SL when I was a young fellow cost at that time was around $9,000- CDN as I recall ... glad to have found this one it came from Florida to Canada in 1992 was restored then and since then only driven 4,200 miles in 20 years.

As to market wake up, from what I read and researched before purchase is you can find one in good to excellent condition anywhere in the range of $45K to $170K all depending on condition ... Top Gear has Season 3 Episode 8 (search on Google) Jeremy C. talks about cars from the 60s and this pagoda SL. Anyway it's the first car I ever purchased that will increase in value and having fun detailing the engine and doing other little things to it to make it prefect. Got to have someting to do in my retirement

Nice additions you made to your M3, where did you purchase your performance rear spoiler?

What car make is your blue stable mate for your M3 and are they getting along together as well as my Pagoda SL and M3

Back to topic ... got my plates today for the Pagoda SL naturally used my beloved M3.

Take care and have a great summer!

I ordered the Borla S-Type exhaust. It'll arrive tomorrow. I'm scheduled to have it installed next Tuesday.

Stopped by the new Mercedes Dealership here in town today in my ///M3 ... they have a two day sales event no interest on car purchase from the lot (and they have many) signed up for the professional driving course ... of course if I should win I'll take the M3 hehehe

Got a few compliments from prospective purchasers or shall we say tire kickers on the ///M3

for coming in (by invitation of course) they gave me 2 cup cakes ... now I have to go for a long run to work off the calories
