Dealership is 2hrs away, taking it in tomorrow--What should I have them check/do?

It's a 2011 DCT coupe with 13,000 on the clock. I wouldn't even be making the trip but the brake fluid change is due. I do all of the oil changes myself. I'm going to have them replace the wiper blades as well. Anything else you guys can think of? I wanna knock it all out in one trip.

Thanks

Trade it in and get a new //M. Just make sure that they do all the services you requested.

Tell them not to flash it so the tune is not overwritten!

Have them check airfilter and cabin filter.

I think with only 13K there won't be much.

Mine had tranny fluid, diff fluid, and plugs at around 33K, you have a bit to go on that.

Good thinkin! I'm staying there while it's being done so hopefully the idiots don't do it. Also, I'm telling them not to test drive under any conditions unless I'm in the car.

X10 on the wash.

Although I told them this at South Bay and my Dashcam video shows them washing (or should I say scratching) the car.

When I called the service advisor and asked him why the car was washed, he replied "why do you think the car was washed?" I said because it's on video!

And then he tried to argue with me that them wiping it with a chamois can't scratch it and a bunch of other BS.

Just got back, guys. Really appreciate the advice. Get this:

I told them not to wash the car or test drive it and they actually listened! Must've gotten lucky?! They did try to push an alignment onto me but I declined. Overall, it was pretty quick--they swapped the cabin filter and the brake fluid in an hour (which of course makes me wonder if it even occurred). I'm a skeptic, seen too much bullshit happen at a dealership that can't be unseen. Also, no need to re-flash, Mike. They didnt update.

nice. u definitely got lucky...as for me, i normally have to bring 2 of my own do not wash car signs..one inside, one on the windshield and i have the CA write Do not wash on their paper floor mats and put it on my windshield so im rocking 3 signs and also have them notate the paperwork. basically gives them no excuse to not follow my wishes.

I wish I did this...

I told south bay a few weeks ago No wash and they added a shit ton of scratches... So back to the $300 detail it goes..

When I complained they looked at me like I was crazy and kept asking me how their towel could scratch my car...

What I was most worried about was some turd driving the shit outta my car up and down the road--I could tell not many M's passed through this dealership because they seemed to like the car. So I was VERY explicit on no test drives.. Them not washing the car was def a bonus!

I thought the brake fluid was pretty much just changed every two years in terms of free maintenance.
