I used Klasse which has always served me well. I actually used the sealant for my rims and the dust comes off easily now. Prior, the dust would settle in the finish and was a pain to remove.

That turd of a Merc kind of mucked up that last pic.
Thanks, I love the 18's--but find them more difficult to clean than my previous zcp wheels. I guess the spokes are closer together.

Very nice indeed ! (makes me want to wash ours this week-end )

For the dealer's logo - if you want it off, go back to the dealership so that it is THEIR responsability to take it off without damaging the car. Apparently they do it with a very thin wire/piece of string.

It's what she wanted--and the MB dealers are pretty much giving them away.

Looks great. Cant wait for mine. No ZTP for me either. Are you happy with the handling/ ride with no EDC?

actually its not that hard to remove the dealer logo. In fact the dealer would probably screw it up and scratch the car, I mean they offer "detailing" when the car arrives and all they do is put swirls all over in the paint. All you need is a heat gun, or a hair-dryer on the highest temp.(make the wife in more crazy )

Just try to peel the edges up with string or gently with your fingernail and it should come up easy when the heat is directed onto the surface.

Which Zaino polish did you use? Z-2 or Z-5 Pro, or neither? lol

I used Z-2 with the zfx (3 applications!!). Although now I have read that Z-5 may be better for dark colors.

I never have had a car tinted so I haven't considered it. I guess a minimal tint if any.... Any suggestions?

You always finish with Z2 -- it has higher gloss but it hides nothing. If you do multiple layers the Z5 can hide a few more ever-so-slight imperfections, but it's not as a good as a wax for doing that.

Zaino rewards a good polishing...

Gorgeous!

Thanks so much for these picks! i could not decide on 18s or 19s with my jerez black but now i am definitly going with the 18s. Also, any opinions on jerez with grey interior instead of red? I have not seen it on jerez and would love to know if anyone has??

I usually tint what the state law will allow... here in Hawaii its 35%.
Darker the paint lighter the tint, but do get some tint man it will look tight

I don't know if tinting is for me. But I can't imagine too many "ghettos" in Hawaii. To each his own....

A bit harsh. 50% looks great on any color. I have never tinted either and am thinking 35% on AW or SSII whichever I go. Lots of threads to get ideas from.
