Does anybody know the volumetric efficiency of the S65 motor?

In search the only post I could find is one suggesting 95%, which seems high but not impossible.

No way is it 95%. You can't get numbers like that without forced induction.

If you're bored and engineering-minded, here's how to do it:

Wrong. At certain parts of the RPM band, even an NA engine can achieve > 100% VE due to intake resonance or ram air effect.

The more you know. Thanks. I guess the OP's question is too broad.

Yep. It is too broad, as VE does change at different RPM.

I remember reading somewhere that the S85 has a VE of 105% at high RPM, but couldn't find the source. I would think the S65 should be similar, if not better, due to the broader VANOS phase range on our motor.
