G37 convertible and sedan coming....SHP +7speed auto!!!!

I'm really excited about how the upcoming g37 sedan will perform with it's added power and 7 speed auto. I think it's going to be pretty quick and economical too.

Another feature added is a self healing paint.....I dunno how it works but it erases scratches from the paint

About the convertible....looks good but not a fan of the heavy weight!!!

As much a competitor as it may be, it truly lacks the elegance of a E93. That side shot just looks horrible. That car was not meant to be a convertible by any means.

I think it looks a bit like a Lexus SC430. Which is to say, it looks good, yet really boring.

Too heavy, too bland, and it's lost its signature roofline. Fail.

I hate the coupe but the sedan is really good. With a 330hp motor + 7 speed+32k(could exceed) price tag....looks like a bargain to me.

It's not bad. Take any coupe and make a drop top out of it will give it appearance of elongate body. Same goes for the E93. It's a good looking car but it's not a must have it.

hahahaha yah Nissan is the most hated car on here coz of the stuff they come up with. which i think is a good thing that it's making BMW owners butthurt.

im only complaining that it's already heavy, and now it's gonna be even heavier. they better pump that torque a bit.

whether it looks ugly or not? sorry to say but E93 isnt the most attractive design either. it's very difficult to make a car that's designed to be a coupe to look nice as a convertible IMHO. if the car isnt designed to be a vert to start with it'll most likely look off

Is the chassis of the sedan going to be redesigned or just the engine?

It's not that bad!

But why does the engine compartment have all that rust in it? Rust on the strut tower bolts, rust on the intake pipes, what a mess.

We can't always compare every car out there with the E9X

+2....I really like Infiniti but the weight problem is a big big concern. I think this trend of getting 'porkier' by every new model released has been going on for a long long time. So I don't blame the G37 but , I'm concerned about it.

Anyway, I think the future is bright as I read some articles about Honda and Nissan working together to make low cost carbon fibre available on their entire line up. Who knows, you might get a lighter G35, Accord etc when the models are refreshed
Hope they can do it and I hope BMW does better then them...lol.

I think they were in such a hurry to release it....they forgot to rust prove it.

Anyway, you do have a Valid point...But I dunno how it happened...

Reason for the higher weight is cuz of all the new technology that we have now'a'days.
Every new feature will have a part + some kind of sensor.
Think about it…….Navigation, backup cameras, active cruise control, just to name a few.
