kw v3...i hate adjusting height!
alright so i have the kwv3 on my 09 m3 and ive been trying to dial in the front ride hight, but god damnit, its so damn hard to turn the adjuster brackets with that little wrench. Does anyone have any ideas to make it easier to adjust? is there a special lubricant or another kind of wrench out there? any help would be great. I wanna put up pics but the front ride hight is still off

I had ClubSports and they were easy to adjust once you got the weight off them. As for greasing the assembly, most lube products will attract dirt, which makes it worse in the long run. If you only have a couple more minor adjustments to make, maybe you could use a spring compressor to take the load off the spring seat before you turn it.

The Clubsport is easier to adjust because it has very little preload on the springs. V3 on the other hand has much more preload. Last edited by Richard@M-World; 06-17-2011 at 01:53 AM.. |
