IMO, this kit is not worth it at all. I bought it from my dealer, installed it, and ended up taking them all back out, returning it to the dealer, and buying the Xenon LED V2 Bulb Kit from Bimmian.

The OEM kit only includes 10 bulbs. 3 for the front dome light, 3 for the rear dome light, 2 for the driver's side / passenger's side footwell, and 2 for the puddle courtesy lights.

It is MISSING, 2 for the driver's side / passenger's side vanity light (Above the sun visor), 1 for the glove box and 1 for the trunk.

The Bimmian kit includes all of the bulbs mentioned above, plus four other mini LED lights that I don't know where they go... :-)

Doesn't make sense to get the OEM kit, and have 1/2 of the lights in the cabin nice 6000K LEDs, and the other half still the old, dull 3500K yellow.

To each their own, however.

Agreed.

Do you have an E92/3?. I'm pretty sure there's a light for the rear passengers, kind of on the center tunnel. Maybe that's where the extra lights go.

Good call! I never noticed those lights! That's exactly what the other 4 lights were for. Was interesting figuring out how to open the housing though after I popped the lights out of the center console.

Thanks dude!

No need to buy the ultimate. Just get the LED V2.0.

This is an awesome upgrade. I had them on my 328i. I decided not to go LEDs on my M becuase the yellow seems a little more warm and welcoming when I get in the car. To each its own.

It's not that bad actually. The LED's add a very nice elegant modern touch.

UPDATE:

DO NOT BUY THESE LIGHTS! I have discovered that there is a manufacturer's defect in this kit, where the LEDs in the Dome and Map Lights automatically shut off after about 15 - 30 seconds of being on. And, they only turn back on when you shut the car off / turn it back on again.

I have received an RMA for these, and will be sending them back. I will be replacing them with the following:

http://www.e92-lighting.com/products...93-366-47.html

I will post with the results after I have installed.
