That's what I stated above, so I'm a bit confused about the point that you're trying to make. My point was that the overall savings without tires is about 7 lbs., not 17 lbs.

I'm not sure why you are trying to pick a fight. Wes, the guy I bought the wheels from, weighed the wheels with tires. He then proceeded to weigh the ZCP wheels with tires. The total weight difference was 17lbs.

See above!

Using your own numbers:

(26 - 21.8) X 2 = 8.4lbs total front wheels weight savings
(26.8 - 24) x 2 = 5.6lbs total rear wheel weight savings

8.4 + 5.6 = 14lbs total wheels weight savings ZCP > Klassen

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I am saying the wheels INCLUDING TIRES totaled 17 lbs. lighter than stock ZCP wheels INCLUDING TIRES. So yes, the TIRES are lighter than the OEM tires. I bought the wheels with tires, so I wasn't able to check Klassen's numbers on the actual wheels weights.

Not that this matters much as I basically destroyed the perfect balance and handling of the Competition Package by lowering the car and changing the OEM stagger by using 255/305 combo. I just thought it was interesting that the wheel and tire package is slightly lighter than it was stock even after the increased size and width.

By the way, that picturing had me rolling in my office chair for a good five minutes.

That was not meant for you... the 14lbs wheels-only savings is using the other poster numbers because he wrote that the actual savings were 7lbs.

Arithmetic.

Your 17lbs savings include tires, which makes sense because my 20" PS2 are about 1lbs lighter each than the 19" OEM Contis that I used to have.

Exactly...because we're all trying to qualify for the pole in the next ALMS qualifying session. Gotta make sure we keep down that unsprung weight

Beautiful pictures and well executed modifications. I vote this as very "clean" and love the look. Great job!

Looks sick bro! If I were you, and in my humble opinion, I'd match the gap from the front tires to the rear. You can see that "tucked" affect, but just a bump up a notch in the rear....frickin' solid!! Otherwise, car looks awesome! I've got a set of KW V3 going on soon....looking forward to the ability to raise/lower as I go.

Typically BMWs have smaller wheel arches in the rear than in front. Thats why when the car is properly balanced the car will tuck more in the rear than the front.
