It's gotta be tempting keeping the RPM's down with that steering wheel. I'd wanna be finding my 0-60 & qtr mile times every day.

If you hadn't already, you should think about getting the Euro switch while in Germany. I understand it's no longer available in the States.

I had to turn in my "long" German plates...those are shipping plates.

Is vehicle registration on the out processing paperwork now? A few of us shipped our cars with the Deutsche plates.

I know

Vehicle registration was not on my clearing paper so I conveniently forgot to turn my D plates in for the AD plates. Where are you headed to next?

I'm just headed to the Advanced Course...TDY and Return...then deployment to the "Stan" once again...I'm shipping the car early because out here in Bamberg they dont have a covered storage area...and back home at least I'll have someone to start the car and drive it around the neighborhood every once in a while instead of sitting in one spot for a year...or longer...

Good idea, I wouldn't want my car to be sitting in storage for a year either. Advanced course? Is that the WOAC?

The rearview camera is an actual BMW product that you can get from the dealership...its integrated with the iDrive...and the camera is activated as soon as I put the car in reverse...I don't have PDC...and thought a camera would be a cooler option than PDC
