E92 M3 - Remus or Eisenmann Exhaust??

Cant decide between the Remus Race and the Eisenmann Race exhaust for my M3. I know they are both pretty loud and thats fine as that is what i want - just cant decide which to go for!!!?

Why did you think that Paulie?? Ive ordered a Vorst CF rear diffuser (which gets fitted next week) and also ordered a Vorst CF front splitter - but thats all the Vorst bits for the time being!! No, its always been either an Eisenmann or Remus Race. Im leaning toward the Eisenmann again as it looks so much better quality and it does sound sublime!! The Remus is dirt cheap by comparison but im not sure i like the look of the pipes or its build?? Will let you know what i decide!!

Ah, I see, the references to Vorst were for the splitters - did you source these from Teddy?

Good luck with the exhaust, I can't wait to hear your new one when you get it. I am watching closely with interest

Yep, Teddy has sorted me out with the Vorst bits n bobs!! The spacers are also via him but Eibach hasnt taken delivery yet. My car is at Sytner, Chigwell today for a few days - they are looking into a possible fueling issue with the car and some other minor bits - one of the best master techs in the country is working on it for me, thanks to Big Tones mate Matt!! Re the spacers; Ive gone for 15mm front, 12mm rear and im hoping it will make the car look wider and give the impression it sits lower. My biggest gripe at the moment is the view of the car from the rear, it looks like it sits far too high. I appreciate spacers wont alter this though!!! Ive also got some super bright white LED angel bulbs to go in next week too!! I'd love to get the zorst sorted and fitted in time for the Ring trip!! Steve

No way dude - Eisenmann is so high pitched as opposed to the V8 burble the Remus produce (from experience). Also price is about £300 more for the Eisenmann. Also PMed you Steve

I've had an Eisenmann on a couple of BMW's previously and have been delighted. What kind of money are we talking about for these two (Eisenmann and Remus)?

All depends where you got it from, but Eisenmann is about £300 over Remus in the UK.

Bought my last Eisenmann from CA Autotech but that was a few years ago. Managed about 15% off at the time.

In your experience, where are the best deals on both these?

Ahhh...Not really considered the US since the exchange rates have been suffering. I'll take a look.

Just for information, when I was at Evolve last week Sal thought my exhaust was quite loud... so using the works SPL meter I measured it a 6,000 rpm, 0.5m away at 45 degrees (which is how they measure it for track days). Maximum reading was 95.1dB... so it looks like this system is no louder at high rpm, just MUCH louder than stock at low rpm.

I was getting concerned as I want to do UK track days and a trip to the Nurburgring (where they can be quite strict)
