OSS style lights life expectancy
Was just wondering what the average life expectancy of OSS style lights were. I'd imagine that the bulbs burn out quickly compared to say LUX V8's

should outlast any h8 type replacements since they're comprised of a string of LEDs.

The only thing I worry about when opening headlights is moisture getting in due to the reseal not being perfect.
I have 0 moisture in my headlights now, and the car is 4 years and some old. |

I had mine done 2 years ago and never had any moisture. Just make sure to take it to someone who has some experience and knows how to seal them properly– its not impossible to do.

Early on, I eliminated OSS as an option due to my concern for this, but I gave in because they look heads and shoulders better (for me) than other options. As stated, have someone who normally does these installs work on your set to minimize chances of moisture. But in the end, for me the benefits outweighed the risks. I love this mod

I agree. I've had mines for a year or so. No condensation and I installed it myself.

No matter how well they are done, they have that non-OEM cheap look when unlit / daytime. Something that belongs on a modded civic maybe... They do look good at night though. But for what you pay it should be perfect in any light.

If I could do it over I would've bought OSS's lights. The look worlds better than my Lux.
