what do you want, a muscle car? or a sports car? I almost went the route of the c63, but then decided that if I wanted a muscle car, i could spend way less and get more performance..etc.

the m3 is just brilliant.
Performance package was never $15k, and if I remember correctly, starting 2009 they've always offered the LSD as a stand-alone option for around $2k.

If memory serves C63 redlines at like 7000rpm or something. Not a fan when compared to the V8 in the M's.

The MB is a great car...I almost ordered it. But the BMW is just better, and not the fact that it is a BMW. The MB just shows everyone on the road that you just payed 70+ for your car, and the BMW is more discreet. Besides the fact that the M3 is more "every day driving" friendly IMO

Given the popularity of the M3, it is the other way around in the discreet department (like someone here said, it is a dude magnet). As for every day driving, wouldn't the low tq be more friendly?

Would you rather ride a bull or a horse. Sure the bull will pull harder at first, but the Horse ultimately will be the nicer and faster ride in the long haul.
