Hey NWers, we're all into our cars and presumably cars in general, but what else are you into? What do you do for fun around here? Hobbies, sports, careers?

When I'm not stuck at work, I'm usually trying to get out mountain biking in the warmer/drier months and skiing when there's snow. I bike aggressive trail and downhill, and ski mostly at Stevens and Baker. I'm also into wine and beer and casual photography. For work I'm a PA at Fred Hutchinson and UW med center.

So what do you spend your time and money on? Anyone else mountain bike and ski?

I am a complete German car nut; who drives a minivan and an SUV. In my spare time, I like doing renovations on our house, watching football and Formula One and playing video games.

For work, I am an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) at REI. I am also a M(icrosoft)C(ertified) -P(rofessional)/-A(pplication)D(eveloper)/-S(Software)D(eveloper)/-T(echnical)S(pecialist)/-P(rofessional)D(eveloper), C(ertified)S(crum)M(aster). I love writing code almost as much as I love cars.

work for a software startup that keeps me busy during the week.

I like to ski in the winters and spend time hiking/on lakes in the summer. I also do crossfit.

Sounds like we should do a ski day sometime this winter

Other than cars, i'm big into boating (wakeboarding/wakesurfing) and typically spend as much time as possible on the lake from May to October. When not on the boat, I like to watch football, work on the house/yard, play with my dog (english bulldog) and do typical girl stuff like shop and get my nails done. I used to be an avid soccer player but a bad injury during a game a few years ago left me unable to run so i can't play anymore but i still like to watch it and enjoy kicking a ball around every once in a while.

And a career in medical device sales is what funds my car/boat/shopping hobbies.
