I would be interested! Keep me informed. Do these setups use an intercooler?

Correct me if I am wrong but space under the hood of a vette is pretty limited which lends itself to a rear mounted turbo setup. It does work VERY well with the LS engines in the vette.

Wouldn't a rear mounted turbo kit naturally carry over to all of the other GM products that use the LS engines? GTO, Camaro, CTS-V, etc?

It would be different but I'm not sure what the benefit of a rear mounted setup is vrs a front mount setup. Unless the M3 engine bay won't accomodate a turbo setup under the hood.

They use an intercooler as well, just there's extra pipe from the intercooler to the turbos

I don't have measurements but the Corvette engine bay has absolutely no room. Most supercharger kits require a custom hood to accomodate the additional hardware.

Again, most kits for the LS engines seem to be developed with the vette in mind.

I know I don't post much here, but we are in the works right now putting an e46 m3 kit together. If it works out well we will produce those kits and move onto the e9X m3, M5,M6 kits.
Stay tuned!

the difficulty with a V8 is that to turbocharge it you either need to go with one turbo on each bank and less complex plumbing, or a single turbo and a lot of complex plumbing. the problem with a turbo on each bank is finding room on both sides. i've seen companies go through this with a few different types of cars, it's never easy. the rear mount kits solve a lot of those problems for obvious reasons. plus keeping the hot turbos out of the engine bay is a nice bonus.

since supercharges aren't spun by exhaust gasses they're generally easier to package.

How is bumping a thread to ask for updates on a potentially beneficial mod that there is not current/frequent discussion unreasonable?

Don't people read or think before they post?

Disappointing, I was hoping for some entertainment--blown up motors, thru cockpit plumbing, software disasters, fire, one-time-use 10 second cars...

Its stupid because since then many reliable superchargers have come out with no lag and big power. Why would anyone care about seeing if the cheap turbo setup in the rear of the car has any "updates"
