For "exclusivity"? Hmmm ok..... My guess is you'll keep that status.

Do you need to inject your negativity in every thread? As seen through the opinions of other members - most do not agree with you.

Please, let the man enjoy his exhaust.

But overall, no denying that it looks and sounds nice
Powdercoating would not work as the bolts would need to be chased. Now zinc oxide plating would be an alternative solution.

Anyone in the market for a full Titanium exhaust already knows that it costs money to play, unless you want to play with broken hangers and such from other "Ti" exhaust manufacturers...

Akrapovic systems are already and proven through many different avenues of motorsport and as soon as I got back into the E9x M3, this was one of the items on top of my list.

I chose the black finish for various reasons:

exclusivity (for now) and I love the PVD satin black finish... Performance can be debated whether heat dispersion is more or less or so on but in the end, I am the customer and it was my choice.

Couldn't be happier
Glad you are happy with your new Akrapovic Evo system.

Just make sure it is soft and that you don't hit the tip with the frame of the brush, or it could scratch it. Good luck!

For real bro I can only imagine the premium that they charged you for the black coating and it is so so so pointless its insane. It's your money and you have all the right in the world to spend it on anything you want but you have to admit a black coated Titanium exhaust is an absolute waste of money with 0 performance benefit. I can only imagine the EAS guys cracking themselves up after you driving away with it. Again no hate for you or EAS but fact is fact.

in all honesty, it really came down to that I wanted a lightweight titanium setup full exhaust system for my car. Besides the obvious weight savings, Titanium has a sound and resonance hard to duplicate by any stainless setup in the market. I have owned this car before and already went through 6 different exhaust setups but on this second E9x M3, I ponied up the cash to get what I thought answered all my needs. But with the PVD black ceramic treatment, I was limited to options such as Gintani and Eisenmann Race... Both well bought and used exhausts on this forum, but I wanted a solution like that with Titanium and EAS had that answer for me. People can argue on this thread back and forth about performance gains, heat insulation, blah blah blah, but I already shaved 60 lbs with the titanium setup, the extra was for personal aesthetics. We all can get away with wearing a G-Shock and Seiko but why do people pony up sometimes and buy Panerai, Audemars and Rolex... Just different strokes for different folks

Not here really to debate with people on it or not, but no one can argue if this is the price for my temporary happiness, then why not

I'm glad someone else said that quote and it wasn't me... I just saw this movie and I can vividly remember the quote! I think I wouldn't have the balls to say it myself without sounding like a d**che lol

It's a great exhaust. You can't argue that. People can express whether they do or don't like the style of it, as that's a personal preference.

When you buy something you decide if it is worth it for the amount of $ you trade for that item. For some, this exhaust isn't worth it and that's ok. Performance wise it's undisputedly one of, if not the best made.

If saying that make me a d***e than so be it.

over the internet - without actually knowing someone, people will always say another person wasted their money, especially when it's a relatively higher-priced item.

i think rather than making judgment, people should be appreciative that
(1) EAS is a reputable place to purchase such a product if one so desires; and
(2) jsyang15 can provide real feedback for the community in terms of a consumer review.

rather than jumping down his throat about how much it cost and what he 'over'-paid for - that's all relative.

for all we know, this could be jsyang15

+1.. Can't be "ballin' on a budget."

These guys don't understand that jimmy wants to have a evo system more different than 99% of the systems out there.. Anyone knows that putting your money into anything that relates to cars is a bad "investment." Anyways the akra looks fucking SICK and he's doing his thing right if he already has this many haters complainin'..

No hate from me ( even though Tom got offended ). I just couldn't understand the point. Still can't. But if you like it and felt it was worth it good for you.
