Trying to work a deal out with the OP but at this time it does not look like a go. If you want to work something out let me know.

Also what is the deal with this thread?

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=622277

Did you end up and replace the front rotors or have them resurfaced? This has me concerned a little as well.

It's a non issue. The rotors are fine and the ridges were really just pad material. Cleaned them up and put new pads on and they are perfectly fine.

These rotors are extremely durable and I was initially overly concerned about something that wasn't even a big deal. I have measured them to verify that they are within spec.

Good luck with your sell OP. I wish you and I could have made something work out. If I did not have to ship them out and pay an additional $650.00 to get them painted my color (not to mention shipping two more times) and another $200.00 + for the front pads we may have been able to do something. I really want these but the price is slightly out of my range for a used kit.

I hope you will reconsider my offer and I will PayPal you immediately and cover the PayPal fees.

Okay OP I just sent you my last offer via PM. Let's work something out and get these sold today.

As noted we both have something in common. You want them sold and I want them.

Not too sure about asking price as we have over 900 hits and they are still for sale. I want them as you know but would be doing a color change perferribly at IND so I need to watch my price.

Just keep in mind when selling something that items are only worth what someone is willing to pay. I am close to OP's price that he worked out just need to see how long he wants to hold on to them.

My main concern was that OP would need to send me the rotors and misc parts and ship the calipers straight to IND so I can get them repainted.

**FruitCake this will also be an eye opener for when you decide to sell yours.

If I was not going to repaint them as the candy red color is not my thing these may already be on their way to me.

The only reason I am adamant on these as they are the ONLY ones currently for sale on the forum. I also want drilled not slotted rotors too so these are a plus.

I am not in any big hurry either as they will be for sale all over this forum come next year when the new model M comes out.

You are probably right Moxie

I am going to change this up one more time with the OP and then I am done. I have not heard back from him in a little over a day now since I have been messaging him yet I know he is looking at this thread. I understand and respect that there is a set price he would like to get for this kit. I too sold a lot of item on my presious E90 last year and I got no where near what I wanted. I held on to some of them trying to get more and end the end I got even less. I have no doubt OP will get what he is wanting but how long will it take to get it is the question. These may sell at his asking price today or he may sit on them for a month. You never really know what will happen out here. If OP does not sell these to me I can at least thank him as I will have saved spending this money at this time. Probably with the economy the way it is we should all be saving our money .

From what I have learned on these forums is that we are all cheap (including me) and do not pay premium prices for used parts.

It seems like OP is not returning my PM’s anymore and I even included my phone number this morning so we can discuss. I hoped that we could have worked something out.

Now I have a question to everyone else simply because I do not know the answer. Why is each pair of rotors different? Two rotors seem to have smaller drilled holes (unless photos are deceiving) and the one with smaller holes has what looks like clips going around it. I would believe that this determines which go in the front verses the rear but why is this?

If the OP decides to contact me then great and if not I will entertain anyone else that may be interested in selling their slightly used BBK with the same specs. I don’t care about color as I will be repainting them anyhow.
