Where in NC are you located? I have a friend at Land Rover Cape Fear in Wilmington that will work with you. He has an E46 M3. I bought a RR from him before I for my M3. His name is Matt. Good guy. I also have a 4.8 X5 that the wife has as her DD. I love it. It would be a tough call. If you never plan on going off road, my humble opinion is the X5.

I was shopping the RR Lux before we ended up with the 750. The wife actually originally was set on the RR. Thought the interior was better than the X5 and it drove more like a truck. I then had a chance for some extended time in my close friend's 2012 Cayenne S. I thought it had a better interior and was a much better performer than either the X5 or RR. Quote:
Too small and too much for what you get imo. Didn't drive it, but it is a long way from a mid to full-size SUV. |

Had an x5 35i an it was amazing if your looking for a wagon with a higher view point. Towed 5500 lbs better than my tundra 5.6 w/tow pack. I avg 22mpg 50/50hwy and st
But at last I realized that I don't like wagons so I traded in for a used g500. I'm keeping this truck for a long time. What I hated about rr besides the reliability is that their finanance and lease rates suck. Other wise I choose the rr all day long
