After multiple other cars getting ruined bumpers I? finally decided to step up from painters tape.
This stuff was really easy to put on and did a good job protecting the paint. Make sure you put a good amount on or it will be a pain to take off. Only did one coat on my head light and it was tough to get off. Overall did a great job protecting my paint. Only a couple of chips from 4 sessions. https://www.roadwarriorplus.com |

Just use clear bra and replace it every now and then. Plus this stuff won't protect the car from rock chips from regular driving since you won't be using it all the time.

looks a lot like "Paint Shield" which is used in paint booths to protect the walls from overspray. I've used the stuff for years and it works great, but you do want to slather it on or it's a PITA to get off.
I'd bet money it's just repackaged paint shield (or similar product). I bought it in a gallon can for about what they're selling a quart for, but good for them for offering it in more manageable sizes and marketing it to the perfect audience.
