Hey man! Idaho is beautiful, still miss many aspects of TX but the scenery, skiing, hiking, etc are just killer here. Small town overall so that's a bit of a bummer, no 93 octane lol. Hope you are well, keep in touch!

There is a Shell station on the corner of Broadway and University. Right next to the BSU stadium. They have 93 Octane at the pump.

sorry about your Idaho situation.
I've driven my M3 through Boise once. I really like that Basque restaurant they have near campus. I know doesn't help, cool story bro, have fun farming!

Katchup, I think you are right! I filled up yesterday and the car is a dog. I know instantly when I have the right fuel as I am supercharged. Furthermore it doesn't make any sense. Every gas station in the area, including Shell, only carries 91, they all source their fuel from the same providers, where the heck is this guy magically getting 93; I'm not believing it. I wrote Shell's corporate office a email yesterday and got a response stating they are independently owned and have to contact them directly. If he has the balls to lie at the pump, he probably will to my face. |

I would report this. On gas pumps, there should be an official seal when an auditor tested the metering of the pump, look for a telephone number for the state agency that's in charge of Standards/Weights/Measures. Report that shit man.

I was hoping its correct, but if its not as others have stated it can be quite the violation not to mention illegal.
When I first came across it, the attendant stated it was correct, and apparently a number of nice cars show up on the weekends just to fill up there. There will be some very unhappy folks if its not really 93. |
