Why not just get a civic, it would be so much cheaper than destroying a fine piece of engineering like the M3...

money does NOT equal taste apparently.

Naawws?

Its easy power, but I have to think a chip like BMW-M-Mexico has would be a better setup.

We have finished our final prototype exhuast system for the E92 M3 from the headers back. We will be offering two systems, one from the rear section back and this one from the headers back. The rear section is designed for your everyday customer who cares more for the overall look and sound more than power. If you're looking for more power and don't mind a system that's a bit louder, the header back system is the way to go. The header back system is designed with ASR Stainless primary cats, ASR resonator with X-pipe, secondary cat deletes, and ASR mufflers with 92mm dual tips. The whole system is made of tig welded T304 Stainless and will not shoe any CEL codes for the cats because of our 02 bung design. We will be offering the same exhaust system for the E90 and the E93 as well.

The dyno sheet attached is of a bone stock car E92 M3 with stock exhaust vs. the same car with our exhaust system. Notice the 6200rpm mark, we gained an additional 30whp and 26wt. Overall peak was 21whp and 17wt.

The cost of both systems will be posted shortly once we figure out our production costs. We should have them available and in stock by next month sometime.

You guys need to relax a little bit with the criticism. At least ASR made the effort to be innovative. What other company besides the 10k Amuse made an exhaust thats a full catback?

Actually ASR is making a header-back & an axle-back. I'm looking forward to finding pricing for both products!

ASR, a couple questions if u don't mind:

1) 100 or 200 cell for each cat?

2) Why wasn't the 2 resonators deleted also?...too loud? Was there any hp/tq gains by deleting those 2 resonators? IMO, the M3's way too quiet!!! I can't hear anything until I roll down the windows.

3) Weight savings over stock?

4) If I buy the rear section now, will it be compatible with your front section if I buy that later?

I think the 2 exhaust systems I'm most looking forward to are the ASR & Agency Power.

Sad how so many people take an ignorant stance to nitrous because they saw an adolescent racing movie one too many times.

ASR's kits for the M5/M6 make incredible gains and are tuned very well. Many cars are running around with their kits and the quality of the kit is impressive. There are no better gains for the money. Just because the gains are cost effective does not make them inferior.

I agree! When I was younger and had my S2000, I ran a NX wet nitrous kit and had no problems. As long as you adjust your ignition (colder plugs at a minimum) and monitor your air/fuel ratio so you don't run too rich or lean, it's pretty safe. It's only the F&F generation who runs more pressure than their compression/pistons can handle and give Nitrous a bad name. How come when you see classic muscle cars at the drag strip with NOS you don't see people criticizing it? I guess double standards are transparent when ignorance is bliss.

I have a serious question here, could you run NOS on a road course or would the bottle run out before then end of a 30 minute session. Does it turn on and off automatically. I know the basic principles off how it works but not the details.

I've never seen anyone use it at the track (not drag strip), could it be done?

How much is a bottle refill?

The amount if nitrous that can be used on a race depends on the size of the bottle, how many bottles they utilize, and what pressure jet settings the driver is using. For example, if I was amateur tracking it with a 10 pound bottle at 50-shot settings, it would probably last me a decent thirty minutes if I was using it on every straight away. The nitrous kit (solenoids and electronics) can be turned off by switches, but the bottle must be closed manually unless you have a kit that closes it for you. Half the money is the basic kit, while the other half is buying the accessories like purge kit, bottle warmer, automatic bottle opener/closer.

I wanna drop THIS m5's setup in my M3 in about 2 years .. I just wanna enjoy the warranty for a while. In the mean time, those are my favorite style wheel - which were those? And in case I do wind up getting the GTR (no, not the nissan, the real GTR, the Ultima) .. then I'll just keep my M3 stock, -cosmetics and simple non-warranty voiding add ons.. The Ultima? Do you all not adore it?
