Air filter decision

Active AutoWerke Performance Air Filter or Macht Schnell?? Not quite sure which one to get...

You'll get the same power out of all of them. AA = replace every 15-25k....the others you can wash. I'm gonna pick up the AFE Dryflo just to try it out .

buy the APE Performance air filter. It's exactly the same one as the Macht Schnell but it costs less. Had I known I would've saved $25 and went with it. It's a good filter I guess, sounds cooler than stock

Go for the Macht Schnell filter, its what most people are using on the forum - here's a recent review that will give a bit more info on results:

Most people will run to run an oiled-type filter. The S65 does not have a HFM/MAF.

Perform a forum search before doing so, some have complained about poor sealing from the AFE units, this is due to the pressure placed on the filter cap from the dowel pin - the AFE pushes inward distorting the filter seal.
