New Proxes RR--anyone tried yet?

Just saw an article in NASA Speed News about the new Toyo Proxes RR DOT race tire. Looks similar to BFG R1 (slick with two circumferential grooves). 40 treadwear rating. Apparently it will be the new 2013 tire for Spec Miata, Spec E30, and 944 Spec. And it comes in our size--275/35-18 for square setup. Has anyone here tried it yet?
