Inspection Sticker, really needed ??
So my dealer forgot to put the inspection sticker on my Brand new Car. And i must say i fell in love with the No sticker on the drivers side window. I am in NJ State.
Wondering if can just have it in the Glove Compartment and show it when needed. ? OR have one made in the opposit colors (original Black fonts on white sticker) So black sticker with White fonts. it draws less distraction and looks better on my Blue/ Black Car. OR does anyone have other idas that i havent thought of ? Thanks

why not ... does the color matter of the sticker or the information ? I believe the info in it matters and not if pink or black ...

just put it on....you'll def get ticket for not having it on the left(driver's) side windshield.
It's not like it obstructs your drive view, i mean every single car on the road has it...

I saw someone with Ireland plates the other day. The full size plates. In MD. No other tags.
It got me thinking. I wonder how long it would be before you got pulled over if you just left your ED plates on? |

You don't think that maybe, just maybe, they are different colors for a reason?

if this is a serious post... you take the inspection sticker you put clear tape on it ... now the sticker and the tape are stuck together.. and you then use more clear tape and tape it to the windshield... u can techically take it down if u want.. if u get questioned u say u got a new windshield and the sticker lost its stickyness...
i learned this when i used to have tinted windshields.. and prety sure making a fraudulent inspection sticker (aka changing colors) is some sort of federal crime and u can probably get a few years in jail for it.. and yes the colors change per month... for a reason... experince with this is i know people who do state nj inspections.. |

How about just make your own license plate with whatever design and colors you want? Make sure to keep the same tag number so that the info content is the same. I'm sure the cops won't mind. They're really understanding about stuff like this

I know everybody is piling on the OP, but I think this would be a worthwhile experiment, if you like the look of Euro plates:
Get German license plate with your official tag numbers Apply to car Keep real license plate in glovebox See how long it takes to get pulled over When you get pulled over, you just explain you meant no harm by it and have the plate in the glovebox and will put it on immediately. What's reasonably the worst that could happen? |
