When did Milpitas become the ricer capital of the Bay Area??

I swear everytime I have to pass through Milpitas lately I get revved on or cut off by some beat up JDM Civic with huge wing and anodized wheels. WTF?

Yep yep. I remember the late 90s early 2000s when I had my civic and was going to there to 'hang out'. Lots of asian places to get rice!
