I watched a really interesting documentary on NatGeo a month or so ago. Apparently there are a few different major sects forming these days. One is a violent neo-naziesq group that thrives on violence. One is a violent group but makes no association to neo-nazis and shares different beliefs. Another is a non-violent group that actually just protests the whole melting pot idea proclaiming that "american" traditions are being washed away and they wish to uphold them. It was interesting watching the last group as they refused to say anything negative about other races and dont use racial slurs. I'm sure they toned it down and tried to make them selves seem "nice" for the cameras.

Either way, they are rapidly expanding these days.

boeing, bae, grumman, l3, and a few others look for people with mechanical engineering backgrounds and clearances. clearancejobs.com has some posted as well, but its best to go directly to the source. honestly, it's mostly who you know in the defense industry. if you don't know someone, you probably won't get hired.

good comment, though i would also add its about being at the right place at the right time.

Networking and knowing people is a force multiplier, but i've had job offers without doing as such. So while it helps, not entirely necessary.

clearedjobs.net, and your best bet is going to be in the DC area. YOu could also make a grip of cash heading over to Iraq or Afghanistan with that clearance and skill set.
