I could have written an identical review. I'd go as far as to say this car is strictly for posers with too much money. Ill definitely agree that it looks the part though. Gorgeous in person.

Before everyone makes too much out of it, the op only drove for a mile or so. Not much of a test drive tbh. Although not an M6, I was invited by BMW Australia to test their m5 on a track day. Look for my review titled test drive in Australia forum.

Do not be fooled by the sound. It was designed to be a cruiser but when you want to unleash its full power it's a completely different animal. The engine and exhaust were incredible as well as surprising. What you hear on you tube videos just does not come close or do justice. The handling is just amazing. It's a beast with dual personality. Quiet and refined when you want and an animal when the need is there.

Unfortunately most people will not get to test the car in this way which is quite a shame.

The M6 feels too big and drives like a boat.

Yeah, and those balls are the second ones that all Canadian men are missing.

WTF is it about Canadians? All you guys do is sit back in hindsight and criticize everything. Like you guys know better and are superior. Your country doesn't contribute to anything. Period.

LOL oh boy I just derailed this thread.

Mercedes and Audi both with better steering feel? I don't care how fast it is these cars aren't deserving of M badges.

The steering gets heavier(less numb) as you change the steering weight setting. The 650 doesn't feel as big or as heavy as it is when you drive so I seriously doubt the M6 will feel big and heavy.

The M6 is absolutely for a different demographic than the M3.

Thanks for the review. M6 is not available in the states so I drove a loaded 650 with M kit on it. Trying to figure out what to upgrade too from an M3. I agree with most of you that it is a GT car for the more luxury "sport" driver. After my drive, my 3 felt much more aggressive and really made me not like the 6 as much.

For the cost of the new 911s I'd rather have the GTR. This can go on forever.....

Can hardly judge an M car in this condition. Other than the noise which of course sounds great in the m3, the rest I am sure will be quite amazing once you can open it up to 7200 rpm and really have at it.
ever reviewer is saying this car is too soft...not just me, and i said did my best, never said i didn't open her up

yes definitely opened it up a bit...but driving straight was never why anyone bought an M car, is it? The car lacked feel and precision.
