gremlins eating battery?
Hi, i replaced my battery and had it registered a year ago. If i leave my car sit a couple weeks it would throw a "low battery wattage" message. This happened a couple times i let it sit for a week or two. The only thing on is the oem alarm, but that shouldnt eat up a lot of battery.... so does this happen to you guys also?

Wow i guess the computers on these cars are energy pigs. All i need for a car to do while it sits is make sure the alarm is on, not calculate ways for me to throw more money away haha. Thanks!

Sitting for a week or two should not drain the battery. My car has sat for 3 straight weeks and it fired right up, and that's on the original battery with a late-2010 build date.

Yep, everyone that buys these cars ends up thinking they need a new battery. You just need a battery tender.
Bought this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00068XCQU/...battery+tender Plug it in every week or so, and you are good to go. |
