someone please confirm this for me!..

hey guys i have a dct 09 e92 m3 with about 19xxx miles on it.. i have several problems with the car like 2nd gear lag.. ( dealer refuses to give me a dct software update) endless clunking noises.. and recently i have read the ticking thread and i went to go check my m3 and noticed i had a ticking noise as well.. so of course i had to make a video and ask the experts here on m3post.. anyway please guys let me know if this is the main bearing problem that i have been hearing so much about.. i plan on scheduling an appointment to bring the car in sometime this week so i would love to know if this is a problem before then so i am well prepared... anyway thanks in advance guys!

Here are the 2 videos i uploaded..

ohh and does anyone know how to upload hd videos through the iphone4? it says wifi is required and i am connected to wifi.. it just wont let me click the hd option before i upload... do i need to change a setting?

Vidoe one sounds normal to me, Video two sounds like top end, maybe lifters, it's definitely half engine speed.

Normal to my ears, the "ticking" sounds more random and at engine speed EG crank speed, IMO yours sounds out of sinc to the crank but regular.

It reminds me of my 335i high pressure injector noise. even sounding and much of it.

Not the ticking noise I have... That's valvetrain noise, which is very common on BMW's.

Main bearing noise is not a “tick”. You’ll know the difference if you ever spin a bearing. Both the injectors and the valve train generate some ticking-like noises. If the car runs good, drive it and don’t worry about it.
