AMT forged wheels... 16 lbs 19 x 8.5

I just wanted to let everyone know about these pretty amazing wheels from a company called AMT forged wheels. They make wheels specifically for porsches and are developing wheels for BMW's. They offer 1 piece forged and 3 piece forged wheels. Their are extremely high quality and THEIR 19 x 8.5 WHEEL WEIGHS ABOUT 16 POUNDS! The wheels are very nice aesthetically, yet are very performance oriented. These should rival the HRE monoblok and other 1 piece forged wheels.
Anyways, here's the link to their site:

They are actually $4795 for a set of 19's and $4995 for 20's. Great wheels for the price IMO.

They look pretty sweet too. Any idea how much pressure the forging process is?

Nice wheels. But for me, nothing beats the look of BBS LM's!

If they are indeed 16lbs for 19x8.5, I must wonder about how come their wheels are siginificantly lighter than any other forged Al wheel that I know. I doubt that there is any room weigth/strength improvement in the material or the forging process used by the competition, so it must be the geometry. Then you get into durability. I know they say their wheels pass the SAE test, but that doesn't mean they are as durable as a set of forged BBSs or Rays.

wow, those look sick. I want the 110's in black.

it looks like the fitment that they have for the M3 is only 8.5J and 9.5J, they should make a wider set.
