Did you guys notice how crazy cracked the leather seat was? I hope my seat wont be like that in the future, anyone recommend any good leather treatment oils or preservers?

Not as in pictures, i was referring to when you see it in person, unfortunately neither I nor the BMWnation took pics of the cracked leather seats.

The bolster area was crazy cracked on the side and bottom.

One thing to help, which people might already know, is to enter the car with your butt first and lean as far forward as possible when getting out of the car so you don't rub against the bolster all the time.

Did you see the car's seats in person? If so then you know what im talking about. Im not referring to whats posted here, the question was direct to people who saw the car's seats in person.

The bottom where your butt sits was pretty cracked along with the side bolsters.

i think that car has seen about 5 years of wear and tear in the past few days from all the people that have been in and out of that car.... i noticed the same thing on the s5 red leather.

after only 18 months in my e46 the side bolster was cracked and the stitching was frayed. and I used a special leather oil that was supposedly better than lexol and other brands..

passenger side was fine... really saddening/annoying that normal wear and tear was soo bad on these bolsters.. trying to avoid those bolsters every time when you dont always have the optimal door opening is virtually impossible...

sigh.. oh well... not much you can do i suppose!
