I have actually received 2 sets of manuals when I purchased my 2008 E92, both came with a leather-type carrying case. But, only one of them has an embossed M logo just like the headrest, and it's in full leather, feels just like the leather on the seat. Your photos looks like part leather & part nylon-type fabric. Has BMW changed it since 2008?

I didn't drop the car off there, I dropped it off in Munich. The good ship Toscana was in Southampton to pick up Minis (I presume). It's now crossing the Atlantic with a 9/21 due date in Port Hueneme. From there to Pacific BMW where my awesome CA, Greg Poland, will hand me the key and I'll be on my way.
