Definitely a forged wheel or at least a spun rim on that wheel. Nice piece of work to bring back the CSL style wheel for the e9x.

Love the GTS wheels in silver finish.

I dont get how people can tell if they are LED or not. There is a film over the lights that do not allow you to tell what they are.

There also is a significant protrusion where the light bars are, and Ill be interested to see how it all ties in together.

Now, did anyone read the comment? it says upgraded interior

shit, i know im sick of my m3, but when i hear that i want to trade in for a newer one
BMW has upgraded the M3 interior twice already in the USA (MY2009 and MY2010), four times outside the USA (MY2009, MY2010, Special Edition, GTS) on top of the Individual Composition.

So in reality any "upgraded" interior is just minor trim details unless you go all out with a special model. I don't see anything different to be done in this MY2010.5/MY2011 M3 other than different leather colors (and I doubt that one too).

Those lights look just like ours from the functional standpoint (LED taillights only), but could be wrong. I sincerely doubt they'll look better. For starters, they seem to protrude, and I HATE that. And the trunk pieces also look the same width as the fender ones; not nearly as nice as the current ones. Even the E46's were better, but I like the trunk pieces aligned at the top, rather than at the bottom, like the E46. I'll be the first to say if I like them better, but I really doubt it. We should see them in a few weeks at the most.

It was already stated somewhere that these are "flow formed" wheels manufactured by BBS.

the E92 is updating the tail lights to LED's so its only fair that they hook up the M3 too. those wheels should be an option, i would have ordered my M with those wheels.

They are available. OE BBS e46 Competition Package wheels. Got mine from Tischer. Run the 19 x 9.5 (rears) on all corners (stagger the tires 265/30-19 Fronts and 285/30-19 Rears). Original concept courtesy of checkcaptain!

(Actually they are slightly different now that I look more closely. The spokes end in the edge of the rim on the new wheels.)

it's sucks to have a 2010 model without 2010 LCI tail lights.

not really, I prefer the pre-LCI more, and it seems to be an easy change anyways.

But you can't even see the tail lights. How can you like one better?

same assumption can be made the other way around..
but I like the ones I have because this generation of tailights have thin lines like the LCI E60, the 1-series, Z4 and the current 3-er which I LOVE.

it won't be plug and play, it will need a reflash but that is like a 30min job.
either way it won't be hard to change to LCI but I think i'll keep the one i have.
