I'm so happy to see so many e9x's in the 10's now. I want to join that 10 second club with you guys. I know I'm making the power but the track here stinks. Plus I need to get a line lock. Congrats to all you fellas!!

Last year, we simply bolted on the LL and put ET Streets on a spare set of APEX wheels. Didn't touch the beat TCKs or make any adjustments....it was literally our 2nd time to the strip with the car. Our car now has stock seats, Nitron triple adj suspension/1200lb springs and a 3.64 rear. It was kinda setup for road racing before, now its all our road course friendly. It may run 12s, who knows LOL.
Agreed, and you did say that back when VAC set the record. My comments toward you were supportive and in no way derogatory. FWIW the first time I went to the strip with this car, using DR's, I hit the WR for any E9X M3 in the 1/4 mile, 12.1 at the time, then on my 2nd trip I hit 11.8 N/A and it still stands. My point was, in regards to your prior comments, was that you specifically were the FIRST Supercharged car to hit the strip and do it the RIGHT WAY, it wasn't a dig at you, but a major compliment. I just found it extremely silly that someone else tried to play it off as if you guys just went to the track on a whim and hit the record.

So are you going to let us know who actually called you a cheater here? I'll be the first here to say they are full of it. Trust me I've had speculation thrown at me from a certain crowd when I did well too, so I know how it feels, but please share with us who accused you of this.

Don't be fooled by the 10.6-10.8 @127mph times the 675hp turbo s was putting down. He was on street tires and we think there may be issues with the tune. That car is a low 10sec/high 9's with more seat time. Izzy....we need to get in on the dyno soon. Regardless, M33 put the smack down on him a few times!

What's with all the bumps on these old threads?

You guys are trying to rub it in, aren't you? Yes, currently you hold it and VAC is close behind, but someone will break it eventually, lol. I still couldn't beat yours and Vac's ET. I keep getting texts, "Get a Line Lock, some real tires and stop using MDM, Drew!"

This record is seriously impressive.

It took more than a dozen attemps with my tuned Turbo S before I could (barely) do better than a 10.65. And I had a 1.616 60-foot time and a vBox recorded 0-60 in 2.6 seconds. NFW could I get close to this in my DCT 650 M3.

Agreed it's awesome, both Scott's and VAC's, but with a line lock, proper tires and negative DA, I think you could get there, not sure if it's doable at Famoso though.

Line lock, proper burnout, MT ET Streets and some luck and you will do it.

Negative DA is not necessary. Something reasonable should be fine. My roots are in drag racing and I've seen cars run quicker in higher DA. There are a billion factors but it's possible to run faster in less favorable DA.

Well said Mike, it is possible and I agree there are other factors, a lot of people simply don't ever consider, if you can get an incredible 60' even more so, but it's quite clear with the E9X M3 that lower DA's have produced the fastest ET's and traps.

I would think it's a little misleading to compare trap speeds from a track with -1000+ DA to a track that has positive DA.

Just checked and it's not on DragTimes. Not that it needs to be...but a lot of people go there to see who has the record for a particular car. Zim and VAC are on there. Maybe you and Drew could post your results also.

We all know DA affects all vehicles. I'm just saying anyone with the same (or greater) hp/tq as our as out of the box VF620 (stock pulley, stock tune, 93 octane) car can run a 10.69 or slightly better with a reasonable DA situation. Klevis who drove the car really has no drag expertise, he just has a clue, some balls and a nice side of luck.

DCT car at or near full weight with VF620, AA Level2, Gintani, Evolve, ESS625 or a 250 shot of nitrous can run 10.69 or slightly better with ET Streets and a LL. We know the car has a bit more in it, but we just don't spend time at Atco.

As far as comparing trap speeds, I only talk about ET when discussing drag racing. Trap speeds are ea$y ;-)

We were at NJMP (circuit) 25 times with the car after we ran the glory pass at ATCO. We hosted all day private events and the car was on track driven by like 12 people more times than I can count. That is why I joke about the engine blowing at this upcoming DOR event - we have been beating it to death!!
