Aftermarket subs with enhanced sound
I have the enhanced premium sound in my 09 Coupe M3 and was wondering if anyone else in here also chose to buy aftermarket subwoofers to go along with it? I want to get 2 10"s because the underseat woofers don't quite cut it for me. Anyone who has put aftermarket woofers in their car with the premium sound, have you experienced any problems for whatever reason or has it all worked out nicely?

I would contact VP Electricity. I think their sub enclosure is awesome. I don’t have mine yet, but from what I’ve read and seen, it’s the best out there, IMO. It’s not 2 – 10”s but it’ll definietly add some bass you want.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=547361 As far as 10”s go… kaigoss69 put 10” under his seats. A lot of modification to the stock housings but seems that it worked for him. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=550048 A lot of guys seem to use earthquake (SWS-8) subs for a retrofit to the OEM 8”, granted they are still 8” but from what I’ve read (haven’t heard in person) they seem to add improvement. Lots of topics on these… You could also try ADMW9s but I would read this first… http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=543500 Overall, these are just my opinions and observations, and I would contact someone to figure out what your exaclty looking for. Technic & VP seem to be the top dogs. |

Seriously, you will burn something if you keep insisting on doing this on the cheap and with as few required devices as possible. |

I PM'd you earlier. But you replied a blank to me. Ive never seen a LOC state what voltage it is? I have one laying around that I bought from best buy a few years back. I think its a metra brand one. Are you saying I cant use it or I will burn something? I just want to add a AMP and 1 10" woofer in the trunk. |

Somehow I cannot reply to any PM or post using the "Quote" button since yesterday...
My response to you was that the EPS harness that I sell includes an Audiocontrol LC2i High to Low converter that easily handles the 30V+ OEM amp woofer outputs. |
